Cook Strait Ferry, Passage 6
New Zealand
The Cook Strait separates the South Island from the North Island. Ferries travel from Picton to Wellington. Travelling from Picton one has to travel through the Queen Charlotte Sound and the Tory Channel before crossing the Cook Strait. Cook Strait is supposed to be one of the roughest and most dangerous Straits in the world. There are however days when you can get a nice and sunny travel.
