In South China Sea Folk Culture Park, visitors can enjoy the fantastic view of South China Sea, at the same time, they experience the traditional cultures of Li and Miao ethnic groups.

Nanshan is recognized as an important site in the history of Buddhism. Monk Jianzhen of Tang Dynasty (618 -907 AD) intended to go Japan to promote Buddhism for five times but all fails due to different reasons. Then he tried again, but this time he was drifted to Nanshan by the sea storm. So he stayed here, and built temples and wide-spread Buddhism. One and a half year later, he left for Japan and finally got there, accomplished his mission.

The Guanyin Statue of Hainan, also known as Guan Yin of the South Sea of Sanya, is a 108 metre tall statue of the bodhisattva Guan Yin, sited on the south coast of China's island province Hainan in the Nanshan Culture Tourism Zone near the Nanshan Temple west of Sanya. This is currently the fourth tallest statue in the world.

This pano was taken on the Buddism godness Guanyin square, where is good place to seeing Statue and sea.
