Qeqertarsuatsiaat

Qeqertarsuatsiaat is a scenic village between Nuuk and Paamiut.

Its name means "the small large island" in Greenlandic.

It has a population of around 200 and has been declining the last 20 years as the fishing stock has been declining.

A nearby gemstone mine is hoped to give the village economy a boost.
