新寶橋是新發通往寶來之要道，也是通往新開、不老及寶來等觀光溫泉區必經途徑。原新寶橋因2009年莫拉克風災期間沖毀，市府乃規劃於原址進行重建。新橋建造將水位、地形與土石流等因素納入考量。長度由原本的40公尺增長為80公尺，橋寬也從原本的4.6公尺擴增為12公尺，設置雙向2車道及1人行道。潔白的曲線造型，更映襯出當地青山之開闊美感。
