I've been interested in VR photography for some time; It's a great way to show the world as it is, with an interactive character.

My interest in photography was born out of my greatest inspiration in life: Aviation. Taking pictures of aircraft, and gradually pointing the lens to other scenes. With the emergence of consumer-grade drones, both hobbies have merged in creating aerial panoramas. I am greatly inspired by the works of the people over at airpano.com.

I work as a freelance cartographer (map maker) and panorama photographer under the name studio Haverstraat. I've allways been making a lot of photos but when I bought my first digital camara in 2003 I discovered it's great potential for making panoramas.

I'm Yvan, a panographer from Belgium. I started with aerial photography with kites under the name Birdseye.be, but soon Virtual Photography catched my attention. Since then I try to photograph all kind of difficult locations.

Well I'am living in The Netherlands and for some years busy with photography, and have been always interested in making panorama photo's. Most of the times these photos where images of 4-5 photo's stitched together. From here on I tried to make 360 pano's an noticed that it was very difficult to make these without a tripod. So I started making these photo's on the tripod but that still was not good enough. So I started to look what was needed to make perfect 360 panorama photo's. And on the internet I saw some Pano Heads, which I made myself from metal. And see here the result.

So I think it's a great way to freese an location with this photo techniek and than share it with the world.

René van Gageldonk is an enthousiastic digital media designer/product developer and loves to create images; photography, video, stereoscopic (3D) video, motion graphics design, 3D animations and all of the above combined.

I love to capture surroundings, nice places and nice moments. Beauty should be saved, created and cherished. This implies that the tools I use are used to capture and beautify my subjects. My panoramic views are part of this. With this I create series of surroundings in their context.

I am a photographer based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I have been an enthusiastic photographer since the 1970's shooting with my dad's Pentax spotmatic, later converting to Canon film-based. I finally made a move to digital in 2004, and stuck with Canon to reuse my lenses. I still dabble in film with my prida and joy being a Mamiya RB67 Medium Format camera.

My portfolio has been tied closely to my work and my other hobbies. My portfolio included entertainment, portrait, model, live events, landscapes, and travel photography. I have been official photographer for the Vonk Afrikaans music awards for two years and also for the first Ghoema Music awards in 2012. 

As landscape photographer I have dabbled with wide panorama's but the 360 degree bug has only recently bitten me on a trip to Saudi Arabia. I did some work with a photographer based in Saudi Arabia who has been doing 360 degree panos for their Department of Tourism, and I promptly started doing the research, picked up a Panohead and an 8 mm Sigma lens and have been experimenting with the Sigma, and with other format lenses.

I still have a lot to learn, and participating in- and tudying all the amazing works on this site is a step for me to explore the possibilities that this form of photography offers to those who would like to get to know it.
